Standing Exercises For Seniors


For those seniors who are still in pretty good shape and can stand for an extended time period, this is the right senior fitness workout.
While you will be standing while performing these exercises, you can be hanging onto support, like the back of a sturdy chair or a kitchen counter. Walkers are not stable or strong enough for these exercises.
The ultimate goal, as you repeat this senior fitness workout, is that you will, eventually, do them using little or no support.
Whatever level of support you require to complete these exercises as part of your senior fitness workout, keep doing them. You will benefit from them no matter what level you are at.
